The past few years we have had 5+ Cal 25 entries in the season-opening Hind-Hornett doublehanded regatta. It is a fun race with a FREE barbecue at CSYC including beverages afterward. Start and finish is off of Crescent, and the course goes to either the Saint Clair Light and back, or a closer buoy and back. Easy navigation, and because it is double-handed you only need to find one crew. Spinnakers are allowed. Weather forecast is for sunshine, temperatures around 70 all day, and winds S/SE at 7-9 knots.
As of now we have two boats signed up….and yeah we have more than a month to go…but the birds are singing their little springtime songs, and it would be great to demonstrate Cal 25 fleet enthusiasm for the 2015 season with a large early registration for this regatta.
