I am looking for the mechanism that keeps the pop top from slamming down.
securing the pop top.
need a piece of rope.
raise the top.
attach rope to front brace hinge point at deck on one side.
bring the rope at an angle from attach point up and back behind
the front portion of pop top where it meets the angled portion of
the pop top. pass the rope across to other side in the hinge angle made between the
horizontal portion of pop top and angled portion. bring rope down same as other side went up,
snug up tight around the front brace hinge assembly and tie off.
