The “Cloud” has been in the family since purchased by my parents new and launched in May, 1971. Spent most of its life berthed in well #25 of the DYC Lagoon  until 2013, now at BYC. She was raced regularly on Lake St. Clair (& Erie: Put-in-Bay) until the mid-80s when crew issues (marraige, kids, transfers, etc.) caused a hiatus. Went to the “spa” in ’99-’00 and been back on the course since then, but on a more laid back and less rigorous schedule. The emphasis now is on having fun (Sundown Series and Off-the-Dock racing) over the more serious one-design events (NOOD, BOD, Nationals) although still participates & occassionally remains competitive in those as well.
