The GPYC Summer regatta had been cancelled/abandoned for the past three years due to inclement weather. This year’s event turned out much better and afforded the teams great sailing conditions albeit hot weather.
Once again, the Cal-25 fleet had only two boats show up to compete. As a result, the two Cal-25s were put into the Crescent fleet’s starting sequence. We then had five boats aggressively vying for boat end starts which were favored all day.

Even though the SIs indicated two W/L races the RC surprised all C course teams with a third race for the day. It turned out to be a nice day for sailing …
